Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Advisorsearch Market Intelligence ("Advisorsearch", "we") handles information in connection with the Service.

1. Information we collect

2. Public regulatory data, and imported contact data

The market and firm intelligence in the Service is derived from publicly available regulatory filings (SEC / IAPD Form ADV and related records). It includes individual advisor records — names, estimated age (inferred from public registration history), and firms' public ADV contact details (phone, website) — used to support succession / M&A outreach.

Some advisor records also include personally-sourced contact details — a personal email address, mobile phone number, and date of birth — imported from a third-party contact list, not from public ADV filings. If you use the Service to contact advisors, you are responsible for complying with applicable law, including the TCPA, Do-Not-Call rules, state solicitation rules, and any applicable privacy law.

3. How we use information

4. Cookies

We use a strictly necessary, httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in, and a companion CSRF-protection cookie. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers strictly to operate the Service (e.g., hosting, transactional email), under appropriate confidentiality obligations.

6. Data retention & security

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. We apply encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed credentials, and access controls to protect your data.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.
